Most extended service contracts are pro-rated when canceled. This means that if
you went to the dealer and canceled the contract, that you would get money back.
The amount will be based on how long you had your contract and the exact agreement
you were sold.
All you will need to do is go to the dealer with your paperwork and
speak to the person that sold you the contract or someone in the finance office.
In most cases an odometer statement will be required, so take the car with you in case
there is a need for inspection of the mileage.
Don’t leave without a dated receipt of your cancelation! This will need to be
processed and shouldn’t take more then a few weeks.
